I'm a freshman and I'm in biology honors right now. I have a B+ in biology right now. How hard is it to be in AP Chemistry? Do you think I can pass AP Chemistry, if I just do all the assignments and get B's on the tests?

AP Chemistry is a college level course. I am taking Honors Chemistry as a Junior right now in addition to Honors Pre-Calc, AP English 3 and AP US History and let me just tell you it is not easy. In the first place I HATE Science so that probably doesnt help, but its a tough class if you dont like studying- because its all basically memorization.

I would talk to your counseler, and get her view on it, but if you have a B in Biology right now, I would reccomend just taking Honors Chemistry, and then hey if you get an A in that, and find it really interesting, take AP Chemistry Junior or Senior year.

I would strongly suggest against it. If you have a B+ in regular biology, you'll probably do best in just Chem Honors. Chem AP is a college level course and extremely difficult. Take it junior year after you get some of the fundamentals of chem down first. I'm a sophomore right now and in Chem Honors. I only know one person who's taking Chem AP as a sophomore, and she already passed Calc in freshman year.

determine you take AP international history on your sophomore year. I only needed to allow you comprehend that AP Biology would not "build off of Chemistry" i'm taking AP Biology correct now, and the organic and organic Chem became in all risk only 2 chapters. maximum of AP Biology makes a speciality of the organic and organic factors of existence, besides the actuality which you at the instant are and returned meant to describe how the actual/chemical residences can impression biology (even though it is not many times sufficient). i might recommend taking notwithstanding technology classification you're ultimate at. (i in my view think of you will desire to take AP Biology on your sophomore year, yet your instructor, who's clearly closer to you and is familiar with your strengths greater advantageous than I do, is attempting to get you into AP Chemistry.)

well i think you should be takin algebra 2 with chemestry or take chemestry after algebra2. but if you did really good in biology and you want to go with AP chem, then go for it, alot of people say that chem is really hard, but i think it also depends on the teacher, if she teaches it good then it might be easy but if not then you should switch out and get regular chem

look farther into your life, will you need chemistry, or well it be a background, what are you interested in, and what do you want to pursue in your life.
