If a napkin isn't what you wipe your face with at the dinner table then what do you call it in the UK? One of my Profs was caught in the rain in London & asked for a napkin. The hostess was offeneded & he was confused.

I'm thinking of writing a book. I've always been good at Erotica and Mystery short stories, having only my friends read them though. However, I'm thinking about branching out and here's where my question comes. Does anyone know how to find out the highest selling genre of books? If I'm going to go out on a limb and actually try to publish something, I think I should start with the most popular genre's. I believe mystery ranks highly but don't know for sure. If anyone knows of a site where I can find that out, OR if you know the actual answer either would be great.

*** Serious answers only here please, Greatly Appreciated***

Is it better to be happy in pursuing dreams or to fulfil them and later realize that they weren’t as perfect as it seemed when one was not chasing them? Men, who base their future objectives on past experiences, will end up destroying their own dreams. In Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby, Jay Gatsby, in his past created an obsessive illusion, a vision of himself and Daisy living in a perfect world, in which lead him to destroy his own life. It is Gatsby's ideals and illusions created by his past that blind him to reality, and to the path of his life. WHAT CAN I CHANGE? WHAT CAN A BETTER "HOOK" OR ATTENTION GRABBER BE?

Hello, I am trying to get college credits in a hurry, and I was wondering if you one knows of a nother alternative to getting college without any test, or life experience, and a way that I can get those credits fast, and I'm desperate for answers. Also if you do know a school that does offer fast classes or fast tests outs, then you could let me know.

One of my teachers is probably a nice person in real life, but she takes no serious disciplinary action towards several students in my class. The students arrive several minutes late-she does nothing. They tell her absolutely vulgar things that they want to do to her, one guy in particular actually feels her up in front of the class-nothing. They talk back and disrupt the entire class-she'll actually laugh with them on occasion. A few minutes of joking and exchanging pleasantries is excusable, but added up, my class is roughly half of 92 min of this circus. She tried to actually crack down, by making the entire class write over 1000 vocab words for homework. This is where I snapped. I told her flat out that she is wrong for punishing the entire class for several students whom she does nothing to any other day when they deserve it. I didn't yell or anything, just told her that I was tired of her not dealing with these kids, and then getting frustrated and giving me hours of busywork-

I am writing to request the removal of the grades for the courses SC/PSYC 3250 P, SC/PSYC 3500 P and SC/PSYC 3590 P, all taken during the Winter semester of 2004.
The reason why I believe I did poorly during this semester is that my grandfather passed away on March 11th, 2004. When my grandfather started getting progressively sick, we were making a lot of phone calls to check on my grandfather's health, since he was in and out of the hospital for several months. It was a very difficult time for me to concentrate on my studying. When my grandfather passed away, my mother flew back home and left my younger brother and myself. I was put under a lot of pressure to take care of my studies and my brother and I was very upset over my grandfather's departure.
I was put under a lot of emotional distress from my grandfather's departure as well as pressure to complete the courses at school, to the best of my ability. I believe that if I was not so stressed, I would have achieved a lot better.
