If you had the choice between Stanford or UCLA, which one would you go to? Also, if you already finished the General Education of UCLA, but have not started with the Gen. Requirements at Stanford, what would you do? Currently Im a senior in high school, HELP!!! Which one? What would you do? Should I go to UCLA and have less years there to earn a bachelors, or should I start anew with Stanford? HELP!!! Also, I am planning to major in medicine. What would you do?

Oooh, I know there's a huge money difference, particularly if you've really finished the GE requirements at UCLA (are you sure Stanford won't accept whatever you took that satisfied UCLA's GE requirements?).

However, if you're going for med school, Stanford looks better. Plus, even tho the science classes are hard, Stanford's got that unspoken grade inflation thing going. UCLA most certainly does not. Plus, while it's not as nice as it used to be, Stanford's drop policy (in case you find out you're doing bad) is MUCH more generous than any UC school.

Stanford definately.
All equal, medical schools will look at your application more favorably with a Stanford undergrad than a UCLA undergrad, assuming your grades, performance, activity, etc are equal.

I would go to Stanford. You will finish your gen ed requirements in no time and you will need to take non-science courses to stay sane (trust me). Plus, Stanford has a better reputation with med schools.

Good Luck and Congrats on getting into such top schools.

Flip a coin.. they're both good medical schools. Stanford is less urban, and quieter. UCLA (I think) is less expensive...

I had a buddy who would tell you Stanford. His son was a cancer survivor thanks to the medical teams at Stanford.

I don't have a dog in this fight, my school of choice is USC, as I gaze at my diploma.

Good luck regardless of your choice. My money is on you, you'll do great.
