I am a first year teacher, and I really enjoy the district I am teaching at. I would not mind teaching there another year, but I would much rather be close to my home town. Plus, the pay at the school district is very low for the state average. So I am looking to move closer to my home town and make more money.

Now the problem is, I don't want to turn in my resignation without knowing for sure that I am going to get the type of job that I want. However, I must sign my contract by the end of March in order to secure my current position. I am afraid this however would take me out of the running for any open teaching positions close to my house.

So how hard is it to get out of a teaching contract in Missouri if I find a new job and already have a contract signed with my current school district.

It wasn't the tenents faults but the company itself. They didn't recieve a letter, due to their own fault, claiming the household for electricity. You recently just move there with your big family for just a few weeks. You did inform them but they have no evidence that you did. So, they apologize for the mistake but they won't be able to hook it back until the next 2 days. No electricity but the only thing you could do in that house is use the water. Both hot and cold. What would you do if you were in that position?! What if you're still attending school?!

I have had all my replies back from the Universities I have applied for this year.

In particular there is one that has given me a conditional offer 'Obtaining a Pass overall and grade C in Maths'. The thing about this is that it's nearing the end of the actual year and there is no way I can take the maths exam again before September.

I will be applying as a Mature student (if that counts for anything). Do you think they will still let me in if I gain a pass/merit in the course I am doing and take my maths exam within the Uni?

I am going to give them a call anyway and see, but I'd like to hear your views on this first.
