A 20 kg cart on wheels has been pushed up against a wall with a spring (k=244N/m) between the wall and cart. If the spring is compressed to a distance of 0.1m and a force of 20 N is continued to be applied toward the wall, what will the acceleration be?

Also, what kind of force is the 20N? Net force, applied force?

In my junior year of high school, I narrowly failed Algebra II because no matter what, I just couldn't grasp it. I didn't realize how essential this class is for applying to colleges, so I took a different math class. I did very well in all my other classes and I've since graduated from high school and am looking into taking a remedial math course/Algebra II (or whatever my counselor recommends me to take for me to transfer out) in a community college.

I'm worried that I'll never be able to get into a regular university because I did not get the required Algebra II credit in high school. I fulfilled all other credit requirements (like English, lab sciences, Algebra I and Geometry, etc.), but this is the only one holding me back. Has anyone had a similar experience to this? Also, if I do well in community college/have enough credits to transfer out, will this make it more difficult for me to get into another school?

“Native education is its own distinct discipline and should be studied within its own terms of reference.” Analyze this statement, provide arguments for and against it, and from those arguments draw you own conclusion as to whether or not it is correct.

I need your input on this for a project that I am working on in school. Thanks!

If so, could you tell if it was hard or not and how I can prepare to get a 5(or at least a 4). Any suggestions for review books would be great!

I didn't know if I liked Computer Science when I started college, but just before my senior year I realized I still hated it after 3 years and I had no job in mind that I liked either. I thought I better finish and just take a related job, but I think I wasn't thinking clearly. I'm out now and there are almost no jobs that I like the looks of in IT and I seem to totally hate the field. I have a phobia of computer programming or related things and I got a GPA of 2.6, but made dean's list once, and spent 62% of my college fund to get the BS degree. It took me a while to realize I hate CS and my interests and personality really changed while I was going through college and they didn't offer CS in high school (like other subjects) so I didn't know that I wouldn't like it so much. I really really hate it. What should I do?

I'm doing a report on dancing, and need help writing a summary...this is what I wrote?? Can anyone give me any suggestions on how to improve this...i desperately need help!!! Thanks.

This study was to explore the many benefits of dancing. The investigation was done by observing a dance group, interviewing members, and collecting data from surveys. The main finding were that dancing, aside from being fun, is also an excellent method of physical fitness. I think everyone should know the benefits of dancing, such as improving circulation and toning muscles which leads to increase strength, endurance, and flexibility. It was concluded that dancing not only has many benefits but also teaches new skills.

I'd like to propose something...Hormel, parent company to Spam the canned meat, is regularly having to sue others for the improper use of the word when referring to spam, the abomination in every email account...what if we all decided to start spelling it "spamm?" Hormel could get a break from the court room and since it means junk email, a superfluous letter tacked on to the end of the word seems appropriate.

For the record, I am in no way, shape or form affiliated with Hormel, but I did enjoy grilled Spam while camping a long while back. It tastes different in the woods.

Please say whether or not you have heard of her, perhaps some facts about her to illustrate your knowledge if you have, and your age if you don't mind giving it. It doesn't matter if you don't know anything about her, but have heard of her, or have no idea who she is at all! This is just a survey to see how much detail I need to go into in an oral I need to give for English. Thank-you, your help will be much appriciated!
