sometimes I get all bugged out cuz my little brother or the loudness of the tv in the living room wont allow me to concentrate when studying. It gets irritating and I have tryed studying everywhere, the floor, bed, desk and outside by my pool area but I always end up getting annoyed sometimes.

How can I take my ACT or pre- SAT test?

I am 16, 17 in May, and I am homeschooled. In April I will be taking the regular standardized testing. I live in Minnesota. Is it possible to take my pre-SAT or ACT tests at home? I would like to start applying for colleges and stuff and I heard that you have to have a testing score for the SAT test to apply. is that true? or can i just apply without scores and stuff? next year i will be a senior. if i can be tested without going to a major testing center or high school could you please tell me how i go about doing it? i take my regular standardized testing at home, because minnesota law is " you have to have signature from you local superintendent to test at home for home-school students". anyways if you can help that would be great!

Why do most 5th graders think they are all that?

i had to go to my brothers school's little party thing, i think a costume party. Not sure. And the fifth grade girls look like WHORES! Some of them even had belly rings, and nose piercings, and I saw this one chick who had her tongue pierced!! Most of the 5th graders were swearing and talking with their RAZR phones, and were like OMG! We have just GOT to get that outfit at Abercrombie!! and some of the were actually dressed a PLAYBOY Bunnie! And they have those little Cliques too.
How stupid!

here is the question:

while on a class field trip, a student found a shiny rock that appeared to be a metal. when she returned to the classroom, she heated the rock for a while and found that it lost mass. further heating did not affect the mass. could this rock be an element? explain.
