Education & Reference - 26 February 2007

I Attend a local Community College. Our Instructor is underqualified. He is still new at this and tonight he made out our first test this week. From the looks of things nobody was prepared for this test. His abilities to instruct are lackluster at best. Who do I complain to and what can be done about his incompetence?

The assignment is for the Yeoman in Canterbury Tales by Chaucer.

How is the pilgrim characterized?
What is the character's place in the social structure?
What is Chaucer's attitude toward the pilgrim?

I'm an Engineering student in a private university.I did well in my first year, but in the second year, my result started to decrease semester by semester until i was terminated from the university.I appealed for the reinstatement and they reactivated my status and accepted me back.Now I'm in the third year, my result is still getting worse. So now i wonder,should I change to another faculty that i'm interested in (that will make me spend another 4 years).or should I go on studying in this faculty of engineering and keep trying to do my best and appeal again and again if i happen to fail again?

1) i don't want to extend my study in engineering for too long. i've been in this faculty for 3yrs out of 4, but i need another 4 yrs or more if i keep on failing like this)

2)i want to change to another faculty which i think i can get good result,but i have to spend another 4 yrs) FYI: this faculty is abt designing,films and animations, and sort of)

please gimme suggestions.thanx
