I am not sure if Google actually uses Babel Fish in the background or not, but Google does have a translation page.

It can translate either text or a web page.

If you have a Mac, there is a Translation Widget that will translate small pieces of text. It uses Systran. You can also try Systran. This is a busy service and sometimes too busy!

;-D I use it for Chinese/English and it does a fair job.

Dictionary.com has a translator on it that I use... I recommend getting into your character map for the most accurate translations.
