Maybe you could say "she" stood out like a rose--you are not that interested in someone's style standing out.

i like that alot. im getting the vibe that shes maybe shy and maybe the people around her are outrageous in their styles but shes the most beautiful of them all. im not a flower person but a rose to me seems prettier than a lily

yes, that is beautiful, but I am a flower lover and can easily picture these flowers.If you want,you might want to add some description or adjectives to each flower so non-flower people will understand, or us a starker contrast in flowers like a sunflower and a rose, altho those two sound corny, but something like that.
