There is a two-letter word that perhaps has more meanings than any other two-letter word, and that is "UP."

It is easy to understand UP, meaning toward the sky or at the top of the list, but when we awaken in the morning, why do we wake UP?
At a meeting, why does a topic come UP?
Why do we speak UP and why are the officers UP for election and why is it UP to the secretary to write UP a report?
I found this very interesting.

4.pets can be more trouble than children my dog unlike my children has never
Been completely house broken. When he’s excited or nervous he still has an occasional problem. My dog unlike my children has never learned how to take care of himself when we’re away despite the fact that we’ve given him plenty of time to do so. We don’t have to worry about our grown children anymore. However we still have to hire a dog sitter for him.
