A fossil is the remains or traces of a plant or animal that have been preserved in the Earth's crust down to the present day. Fossils collected from all over the world are our most important source of information about the species that have existed on Earth since life began.
The skeletons of living things whose contact with the air was suddenly interrupted have come down, often perfectly preserved, to the present day. Research into these fossils permits us to learn increasingly detailed information about extinct animals or plants. Most basically, this information also tells us about which living things existed during which period.

My friend has a daughter that will be attending Volunteer Pre-K next year and right now she is in a church school 2 days a week. She wants to pull her daughter out next year (the daughter loves it there and has made alot of friends) because they are not religious and she is afraid her daughter will start believing in God. Neither mom or dad believe in God. What should I tell her? Or should I keep my mouth shut?

Hi, i am trying to transfer to a better University,
and I'm taking some classes at a community college,
So,If I am accepted at a University this year,
and register for it, is it okay if I attend the school
the next year?
b/c i also want to try a different school, but i would need to take one more semester at a community college.
that is why, after being accepted at a university, I was thinking of taking one more semester at a community college,
and apply to a different university and see if I get in or not.

is this even possible?
