It is a slang meaning very basic or simple, anyone should be able to to it. It was taken from the American college system that has all their first year courses numbered as 101 ie Math 101, Humanities101 etc.

Sometimes it looks like 101 but is really lol (LOL in lower case). It means "laugh out loud". Could this be what you mean?
