Most jobs like teacher, doctor, etc have clauses in the contracts forbidding them from engaging in "unethical" forms of recreation. Though it's not illegal for a teacher to patronize a place like that (not in any state I can think of, anyway), it could still spell the end of his career if he violates an ethics clause in his contract. How many schools do you know that would appreciate knowing that their employees are getting lap dances on their days off? Bad for publicity plus it undermines the respect that a teacher needs to be able to do his job.

A public school teacher with a good employment history can go to a strip club without much chance of anything happening.
"Morality Clauses" and "Ethical Standards" aside, it's difficult and expensive to fire a teacher over a matter which, in all likelihood, would be completely out of the public notice.
If a school district did want to keep its employees from going to strip clubs, verbal and written warnings would precede any more serious actions. Firing a teacher would bring about more publicity than warnings, and would require legal work, human resource time, and too many discussions with upset parents.

There is no law that says a teacher can't go to a strip club, teachers are people to and people are sexual. I'm sure it would be frowned upon as teachers are viewed much different than your average person because of their status. But let's face it we all need fun once in a while

if the teacher was at a private or religious school I could see it being a problem...some school districts make teachers sign a morals clause, that they will always act in a manner that is becoming to the schoool, but technically a public school teacher can not be disciplined nor punished for what they do on their own time as long as they do not do anything illegal (or at least get caught doing it)...when we were in high school we snuck into a strip club and found out that one of our student teachers danced there...weird...

I think a teacher is entitled to their private lives. I could care less, but then I've been to strip clubs so they hold no particular mystery or derogatory connotation for me. What if the teacher married a stripper? Is that anyone's business? No, of course not!

do no longer say something to him or act any in a distinctive way around him. He could think of that it wasn't quite you, in basic terms a glance alike. He will possibly no longer want to checklist it via fact then he could ought to state that he become in a strip club which isn't sturdy for him the two. I commend you for being in charge sufficient to make money to place nutrition on the table and a roof over your heads. it quite is an astonishing international the place that's the form you ought to do it. I quite have heard that the money is sturdy. Please be good to easily save to dancing considering that could be a launch pad to worse issues.

Speaking from a person in college studying to be a teacher, our Code of Ethics states that we should adhere to all aspects of the Code of Ethics. One huge component of the code is to hold ourselves to a high moral standard within the community. To quote the Code of Ethics..."The educator strives to achieve and sustain the highest degree of ethical conduct." A lot of people could translate that in many different ways. I think it would depend on the county's flexibility to the Code of Ethics. They might just get suspended, revoked license, or nothing would happen. I think it would depend.

Yes, some schools include in their contract about these particular type of "involvement" or "behaviour" . They may term them as "conduct unbecoming of professional", or " indecent acts".
