My school offers 7 AP classes: Lit and Comp., Chem, Bio, Art History, U.S. History, Calc, and Stats. I will have taken only 4:Lit. and Comp., Bio, U.S. Hist., and Stats by graduation. These are the only AP's my schedule allows for because Soph. and Fresh. can't take AP at my school. I've noticed that on this site and similar ones, students accepted into the more elite colleges take 5 to 10 AP's. Will this hurt my chances or will colleges recognize my situation?

I don't know if this is true or not but I have heard it around for the longest time that if a professor does not show up for class within 15 to 20 minutes of the starting time of the class the student(s) can leave without being penalized.

I've asked at my school and no one seems to know-its not written anywhere but people leave anyway when it happens. I go to school in California, anybody from any other state have you heard of this?

The unit is on Simple Interest, and the question is asking to

calculate the simple interest in each situation:

a.) $4250 invested at 6%/a for 38 months.

b.) $5000 borrowed at 5.75%/a for 45 weeks.

The interest in both of these questions is $4520 and $5000

respectively. The rate is 6%- 0.06% and 5.75% - 0.0575%

respectively. The time is 38 months and 45 weeks respectively.

The formula is I = Prt. My question is how do you change months

and weeks into years because time has to be in years. I need

urgent help! Someone please come to my rescue!!!
