I am not a californian resident and i am planning to study there. The thing but the tuition for non resident is too much and i dont want to pay it. Somebody knows if there is anything to become a californian resident so the tuition can be less!

Alot of colleges, if you can Get a scholarship, will waive the out of state tuition increase. Some also waive it if your SAT of ACT score was high enough. Talk to the folks in Financial Aid/Admission and ask if it can be waived under any circumstances.

Usually you have to live in a State for one year to get the in-state tuition rate--so you may have to suck it up for a year, but then maybe you can get in-state tuition rates for the last three years if you stay in CA during the summer and don't move back home.

But do ask them about a waiver. The worst they can say is no.

Good luck!

For the first year, if you don't have any waiver, one thing you could do is go to a community college for the first two years. At least the fee would be cheaper than if you go to a 4 years college. Then transfer to a 4 year college.
