What words do you think I would like if I like the words:
vermillion
patinoire
incarnadin
Sebastien
Max
crimson.

I'm looking for words that are at least just a tiny bit obscure or underused.

The feeling of the sound and look of the letters does affect it alot for me. It's not just that I'm looking for intellectual words they have to have like a graceful or striking connotation or appearance. Mastication is reminiscent of mastodon which has a big clumsy meaning and. . . aura. I guess you could say... the combination of letters and sounds seems big and clumsy too.
Oiredin brings to mind Ireland or some sort of adjective meaning "of or pertaining to Ireland or the Irish." And when I search I get no results, I'd prefer something with an actual meaning but it's not 100% necessary. Oreponsian also had no results.

Sadistic is almost good. I've always like zephyr but its both a bit too common and it makes me think of the boat in Anne of Green Gables.

Vermillion is very nice.
I like the word ubiquitous, but part of the reason why I like it is because I see the word often, and thats sort of what the definitions means. So I guess thats not really underused, but maybe it is for you.
I also like magnanimous.
