my daughter's 3rd grade teacher is a veteran teacher at a well respected school and top district in south carolina. she is extremely moody, belittles and singles out the kids even going so far as to claim to be allergic to one of the students. now my daughter is having severe emotional and physical stress symptoms associated with school. she is an honor student and has always excelled. this is the first horrible teacher we have ever had. the problem is becuase she is a veteran teacher, people seem to dismiss her actions and make excuses. this teacher seems overwhelmed, burnt out and is taking it out on the kids. i am not alone in my experience and there are other parents having trouble with her. i don't feel she is open to any constructive critisism or willing to change. i have also heard she can become ugly and resentful to students whose parents raise issues with her. please help if you have experienced this and know how to get results.

my story is about our diverse school and the topic i chose was- a person from a biracial family.

These are the questions I've come up with so far to interview people, but I need more. Any suggestions?

Biracial Midterm Story- Interview Questions
1)How long have you lived in this town?
2)What races are you? Explain. What is it like?
3)Would you consider yourself lucky to attend such a diverse school as this and the other schools you’ve attended in this town?
4)Do you think you have an advantage of attending this school? Why or why not?
5)Is it hard being biracial? Why or why not?
6)Do you ever get asked to “pick” a side/race? What does it feel like when people say this to you?
7)Have you ever been made fun of for being biracial?
8)Do you wish you could ever change the fact that you are biracial?
9)Do you feel unique as a biracial person?

This story counts as a midterm grade and I need alot more questions so I can write a good story. Thanks!

A piercing scream cut through the air and made my heart freeze. The sounds of anguished cries and lamentation flooded the place. All around, people were scattered. The atmosphere was a regular Mediterranean evening - warm and motionless, little did I know that my world was about to be shattered forever...
I looked up at her colourless face and tried to be brave…"I will not let them take you." I whispered bravely in to her ear, touching on what was the worst of her fears. "Even if it is the last thing I must do." I knew it was already too late, yet, I clenched onto the little hope I had left.
“My son, oh, my sweetheart, no…”In shackles beside the auctioning block the fair, dark-haired woman wept. Her handlers were brute and intolerant of her sorrow and one of the pair of burly men slapped her across the face to shut her up. The blow caused her to stumble and fall, landing on her back and thus on her hands, the binders cutting into the soft flesh of her wrists... (continued below)

I really dislike graphing and don't understand some of it but could you help with this question. I need to write a definition for a piecewise-function. The graph has an enclosed line from (-1,1) to (0,0) and another enclosed line from (0,0) to (2,1). The ends are filled so it means the end numbers are included in the equation. Any help would be appreciated.
