I'm having difficulty with my physics homework. If anyone can help me... please do so. Heres one of the questions:

A pile driver is a device used to drive stakes into the ground. While building a fence, Adam drops a pile driver of mass 3000 kg through a height of 8.0 m. The pile driver is opposed b a resisting force of 5.0 x 10^6 N. How far is the stake driven into the ground on the first stroke???

I know the formulas : Work = (mass) (gravity)(height) and
Work= Force (distance) (cos theta)

please HELP ME!

I really like to read books about my black heritage and books by african americans. Like books from Maya Angelou, Toni Morrison, etc. I really hope they have some courses because most web sites don't list them. So if anyone had a course like this or can tell me if they do have them in college I really apperciate it, thanks.

I don't want to get into to many details because I would hate for a specific professor to read this... but have you ever had to file a complaint against an unfair professor? I'm not talking about someone failing you because you deserved to fail or something like that I'm talking like just absurd behavior and extreme rudeness all the time. If you have ever filed a complaint or talked to a professors boss how did it end? I am not the only student who feels this way so if I needed to get other people to back me up I probably could.

I just looked at my status for a college and it asked for my mid-year grades. I applied early action (meaning it was not binding). Does that mean I was deferred? I really am not sure. It never said anything about being deferrred. Up until today (for the past month or so) it has told me that my application was complete. And then today when i logged on to check the status it told me it needs my mid-year grades.


Deferred or no? Or what does it mean?

I have absolutely no musical talents and I do not play any instruments or sing well (although I love to sing)

Are these instruments difficult to learn? Which is nicer and more appropriate for a beginner like me?

I'm 24 and have just finished my two year degree, yes only two years. I Have to transfer to four year college to complete my B.S.
I'm sick and tired of it. I hate college so bad, but I know I have to finish. what can I do to keep moving forward? Everyone has a B.S. degree and they are rubbing it in my face! Damn this ****. Someone please offer my advice.

Ok I think the first plane to crash was United Airlines Flight 175 but I am not completely sure! If I am right do you happen to know who the pilot is or where i could find out who it was!
