UoP is an accredited online institution. They do have courses where you meet once per week, too. Their primary goal is to give people who are working full-time jobs the opportunity to advance their career by returning to school and getting their college degree.
If you are fresh from high school, I would suggest going to a campus-based school, rather than doing your work online. In a campus setting you will have the opporutnity to increase your mastery of learning by having interaction with instructors, staff, and other students. Doing your courses online does not usually give you those types of opportunities...even if they do meet a couple times per term in an in-class situation.
