My boyfriend has refugee status in this country. He is from the Sudan. This means he is free to work and go to school here. However, does anyone know whether he would qualify for a pell grant? Or do you have to be a technical citizen?

I am asking this because I'm frantically looking for ways to help ease his load, which would include NOT working a fulltime overnight job while going to school fulltime and supporting a cousin who barely works at all...

I need to find ways for him to go to school without having to work like this at the same time. It's insane. And we are probably going to be finished for good because of the stress if some solution is not found. I'm trying to help.

Anyone with a HELPFUL and INFORMATIVE answer will be awarded best answer. Thank you.

How many reciprocals does each number have? You don't have to solve that for me, I just wrote it to give your more info.

I'm doing an essay about euphemism and I would like to know the origin of the euphemism "goodness" for God.
Is it a substitution of the term "Godness" ?
Does this word "godness" exist or did it exist ?

If you reply, could you give me your source ?
Thanks very much !!!

Do you think that grammar, spelling and the structure of written langauges, in this case English are suffering with the Internet?

Those of us who went to school before Microsoft et al, grew up writing in exercise books with a teacher closely monitoring our mistakes. Today, children seem to be learning bad grammar online with nobody to point out the errors (just look at some of the questions here).

What do you think will happen when they reach university?

she can read but its really slow and she mixes up alot of the words. and gets frusterated that it doesnt make sence. she cant hand write barely anything. she has been abused in the past and never learned how to learn. i am her teacher, what should i do. i've tryed everything to teach her. she is finally ready to learn but i cant figure out how to do it? she gets really frusterated really easy. she cant take the tests to do basic standards. she refuses to practice her reading. she understands anything thing she has read to her but if she reads it nothing goes in. WHAT CAN I DO? DO YOU KNOW ANY PROGRAMS THAT COULD POSSIBLY HELP HER? what does this sound like to you? her parents are at the end of their sanity. she is not emotionally at the right age either. her math is really poor also. it seems to be connected.

I'm writing my very first college essay that is due Dec 9! (I seem to be a procrastinator)

It's for my government class. I have a choice of subjects to write about, and they are all about my opinion. So if you have any tips on opinionated essays, that would help a lot. I don't want a "I think..." "My opinion is..." sort of opinion. Anything will help. Thank you so much!
