what a good way to memorize special dates and key terms i even thought taking the first letter out each of the words and making into somethinng

Associate each thing with something else. You could remember dates that are close to other dates (like birthdays, etc.).

When studying I play my favorite song over and over. Then when taking the test I can pretty much remember what was going on while humming the song during the test.
