Hello.. I"m trying to search on which school is the best for me in terms of graduate school in NY. I want to get a MBA degree but with specialization in Marketing (database reports & analytical & research). Nowadays, most marketing and analytical jobs require knowledge or experience in Access, SQL, Oracle, web analytics, and all kinds of analytical stuffs. Which school would better serve me and um.. am looking at cheaper school also since I"m still paying loans from undergrad. Sighs! Thank you.

I teach English as a foreign language to adults (part time) and want to get a professional degree to add to my resume and help me become more qualified. Has anyone here studies for this diploma before or knows any details about it? Any advice will help a lot. If you could also suggest other alternatives to it I'd really appreciate it. Thanks:-)

I'm thinking of words like 'bonny' or 'blather', but these aren't very good examples because although they are words that are instantly recognizable in England, they aren't regularly used in England because they are still associated with Scottish dialects. Words like 'heckle' or 'blackmail' are what I'm after. Can you think of any more?

In my state they have something called the TAKS test. It is a big deal, 50 questions for 3 parts, and you have to write a 2 page composition to a quote. The only problem with that is teachers have to spend all of their teaching time, teaching how to pass the TAKS, not what might be the most important thing to learn. Teachers are so afraid they'll get in trouble if not enough of their students pass, they only concentrate on TAKS material. Do you think this is fair to the students?
