The question is not clear. Is it the circumference of a circle or a square or rectangle or any other figure that is required to be worked out? If it be of a circle, then it would be pi*28 ft. if 28 is the diameter or pi*56 ft. if 28 is the radius. For other figures, the answer would be different.

circumference of a circle can is found by multiplying pi ¶ (equal to 3.14) by the diameter of the circle.
If your circle has a diameter of 28, its circumference is:
3.14 X 28 = 87.92 feet
if you know the radius, the diameter is twice as large.
you can also convert it into inches by multiplying 28X12=336
336X3.14=1055.04 inches.
pi is an infinite number, but it runs like this..
3.14159265 anything more then that is really useless unless your formulating something serious.
