Education & Reference - 23 November 2006

I am currently a mature student studying Civil Engineering. I find Mathematics quite difficult and would really like some advice on any way that I could help myself improve on this subject. Maybe you could recommend some books, method of study, or ways of remembering different things. I do study very hard but find I forget things very quick. Or is it that I am just not cut out for all this.

what is good GPA to get into U.S Merchant Marine Academy???? i have 3.14 and participate in football, crew, Civil Air Patrol,
and international club and a club which i created myself and im the president. and over the weekend i work for community service hours. so far i have more than 100 hours. is that good enough for u.s merchant marine academy???
