Sounds like you've got Dan in a tight squeeze. His wife's obviously used to wearing the trousers so she may not cut him any slack. To avoid handbags at dawn, tell him to just zip it and belt up and stop being a big girl's blouse. You made a bloomer but at least he won't have to knickers anymore. Just because Dan asks it doesn't mean you have to give him one.
