I need this for a social studies assignment and I need it by Nov. 30.

Canada is a huge and very varied country, so it has literally hundreds of different symbols. A significant Canadian symbol is of course, the maple leaf.

Each province and territory has its own special symbols. For example, a symbol of Nunavut is an inuksuk, while a symbol of Newfoundland is a flower called the pitcher plant. The schooner The Bluenose is a symbol of Nova Scotia.
