I need a alternate word for 'things' in reference to 'emotions and aspects'. Any suggestions? I've tried a thesaurus, but I can't seem to find the right word.

Heres the context: "At first hearing the soliloquy, I thought it was a little too comical and sarcastic, but as it progressed, I was captivated by the multitude of emotions and aspects of Hamlet’s character that Carlson portrayed in one single soliloquy. Granted these THINGS are all present in the text, as I mentioned, simply reading the text does not give you the full experience of the greatness of the speech.

Some new cookies started appearing in The Bakery very recently. These cookies are in the shape of different letters of the alphabet. The Breadmaster started laying the cookies out to cool, and you observed the letters as he laid them out in this order:
H B N A I E P R O

What will be the next three letters he lays out to cool?

I have heard this term for awhile. and wonder what all of you think about it's originations?

It strikes me as having a Beatnick era slang quality to it.
