I am English andI need to learn one of these languages for a particular course i am interested in, what would you suggest is the better to take up?, i have approximately 1.5 year to achieve this.

When making your suggestion please advise of some starting pooint, i.e textbooks or course etc, i prefer to learn at home! I would like to hear especially from those who have a language teaching background...!

I graduated two years ago, I am in college right now but I have no idea what I want to do. I have been singing all my life and I write my own songs. but the problem is that you cant really do anything with a degee in music... I wanted to go into medical but now i dont feel that its for me... it takes a lot of time... and now i have been thinking about communicaltions / International buissness... now what can you do with that???? I am really good with people, love being creative, also I love to work with people.. I also have a love for Volunteering... what kind of career is out there for someone like me...

Looking to advance my career in public sector in the UK and I know a lot of big names have doctorates. However I also hear MBAs are becoming more useful especially with thew new MPA for public sector managers. Since I have but one life etc etc (and only one lot of savings more to the point) I could only really go for one. Which should I do?

why are british white people so cold ?its like i am new here "studing"! i catch my bus everyday and see loads of white getting on the bus and trust me no one till now gave me a warm smile .... no one wants to sit next to me duh all right i look like south arabian but i am just lik one of u with grey eyes and fair skin n red blood....i walk alone on da road and no one even looks at me..its like british people dont have eyes to look! i wanna know whats up with this..why are they so cold to me

I taught myself a couple of years ago to even turn on the computer, Now I want to work on it as well, I keep reading about these things I asked, but still not finding my answere I am more hands on or even actually talking to someone would help even more. I don't really have the money to buy the books or go back to school! So what does one person do when they really want to learn but don't know anyone that works on the internet and doesn't have the money to find out. I love this Page. I would love to be an English teacher one day. I am just about to finish up an associates degree in Liberal Arts and then I hope to transfer to a 4 year university. i particularly want to be a highschool english teacher. do i transfer to a university and major in english and then get a teaching certificate after that? how does it work?
