Can you tell me the simple subjects and predicates for these sentences, because every time I do it my teacher says its wrong but I wanna make sure because she's kinda nuts.
1. Trisha was leaving in a hurry to be first.
2. Stephanie must finish or accept a last prize in the writing contest.
3.Ashylnn had baked a cake and had eaten almost all of it be three o' clock.
4.They should have come with us to the party.
5 Grandpa may be home now for it's late.

okay this is my brother.. so ****ing stupid
this is what happened
in school
he and his friend who is one of the naughtiest kid in school decided to go steal an ipod but my brother was caught on tape cos he was the one taking it and his friend was standing somewhere else not seen.
then his friend took the ipod and sold it and got some money and they split it
noww they are in deep sh*t
and is in great risk of getting kicked out of school right now
his friend has such a good friend has been lying and saying that my brother borrowed money from him and stealing the ipod was a way to pay back
such a son of a b*tch
anyway tomorrows my mom
is going to go see the deputy principle
just see if there maybe some reasons or good stuff to say that would help him get in less problems and risk of getting kicked out
and yeaa my bro a great brother but just hanging out wiht the wrong friend. and his friend his really the one who borrows money from my bro

but anyway any thoughts?

ive skipped art class for about a week now and i really want to drop it but i think its too late in the year to be switching to something else and if i just drop this class i wont be allowed to only have 2 classes and the minimum is 3..... how do i get out of this situation..this is highschool

Before the exam started, some of my classmates got the answers from those who took the exam first. So i copied the answers also. As soon as i was starting the exam, my prof caught me holding the paper. He took my paper and that of my classmates too. He cancelled the quiz, and said he was so disappointed with us, but i think he was referring to me alone coz my grades are ok and he knows i study for his subj, but i was tempted coz the answers were there already. So the whole class are mad at me now. Coz we dont know what will happen next. That prof is known for failing a lot of students. What shall i do? to the prof? to my classmates? i dont wanna go to school anymore...im so ashamed of what i did.

I am not trying to judge those who do, but i would like to know why they do it. Perhaps, it is understandable if someone is going through truama or some kind of depression and they are using alcohol as a temporary reprieve but besides that what is the point of getting hangovers, being pissed on the street and whats more meaning that you are an easier target for thieves and rapists. I drink myself and some people tell me that sometimes they just continually drinking and they don't notice the time when they start getting drunk.
