Education & Reference - 13 September 2006

Hi, I'm from Egypt and already have a bachelor degree, but I will move soon to NY and I believe that my Egyptian degree will not be accepted well by employers.
So, what should I do to have a better American degree? Should I go over a 4 years degree again? Or there are ways to earn degrees in less time? (I don't want an online degree)
Also, is it true that green card holders pay less for tuition?

I didn't get my textbooks til this wk and we're in the 3rd wk. I've missed 2 of the 3 classes in a 15 wk term and I can't help but sleep.. and I have night classes. $ is bothering me and I either read or sleep to forget about it. What should I do and should I try visiting my prof's in their office? How do I even talk to them about this bc it's unlike me and they hear these things all the time?

I know growing up we used to look at a willy worms color and it was supposed to tell us if it would be a mild or harsh winter..brown meant one thing and black..another. Same with the persimmon seed if you opened it up it was going to tell you about the winter ahead.
