Hi, I'm from Egypt and already have a bachelor degree, but I will move soon to NY and I believe that my Egyptian degree will not be accepted well by employers.
So, what should I do to have a better American degree? Should I go over a 4 years degree again? Or there are ways to earn degrees in less time? (I don't want an online degree)
Also, is it true that green card holders pay less for tuition?

I wouldn't go through another bachelor's degree, since I'm not at all convinced that employers would accept it any better. If they are biased against Egyptian schools, they are probably biased against Egyptians, and you don't want to work for someone like that anyway.

If you really want to have an American degree, why not go for a master's degree? You can probably get one in 1-2 years, as opposed to the 4-year bachelor's, and it will give you something you don't already have.

It is not true that green card holders pay less, except that at state universities they can pay in-state tuition, as opposed to out-of-state tuition that you would have to pay if you came over on a student visa.

You mentioned that you don't want an online degree. Why? Even good universities like UMass, University of North Dakota, Seton Hall, many/many others are now offering online degrees. Not going to an online college I can understand, but an online degree from a good university is better than an on campus degree from a lesser university. Something to think about!

good question. that's what i'm attempting to come to a decision. I evaluate enlightenment or a extensively extra sparkling concept of how issues relatively are. ideally, to be modern interior the right here and now for all time. i'm no longer there (right here) basically yet. however i'm reminded further and further oftentimes. this question became yet another reminder! to cut back the pull of strategies.

Having a green card will not save you money. I would check with admissions and see if your b.a. will transfer and i would get a two masters program. That would save time and money
