Please help. Next year my dad wants to send me to a private catholic high school just because he went to one and because they supposedly had "better" grades and all. which is probably true but i make all A's. my mom and i both think it's bull. I told him I dont have any friends at the private school and he said that if they are truly my friends they will stay my friends. yeah right ill hardly get to talk to them. What should I say to my dad so he will let me stay at the public school.

Why are highschool girls less successful at math than guys, on average? Of course, this isn't always the case. I know many girls who are good at it, but they're a minority. A minority of girls enrols and remains in math majors. I think the disparity arises in childhood games and past-times.

Is it maybe a psychological block? A friend of mine had excellent grades in all highschool subjects (straight A's in humanities, very good in foreign languages and even sciences) except math, which she failed as a senior.

If they see it as boring and useless in life (o yea, female charms gt you anywhere), why don't guys feel the same way about it?

For me, it certainly has. When I was in high school, I would fall back and not really care about my work. But now, this being my third year in college, I've come to appreciate education. I guess it's because of the quality of the education, the openness of the people or something.

how about you? Has college changed the way you view education, if so how? God bless you all.

I have to say this:
to all you out there who answer questions rudely, or dont give helpful advice, why dont you just answer elsewhere?? why care to 'score points' when they have no benefit to us whatsoever. some of us ask people questions seriously, and for some guidance, so dont waste up space with your nonsense. You're not funny. I really dislike the ones on here who think they're sooo hillarious on here. I havent read anyone on here yet that was actually as funny as they thought they sounded. Its annoying.
