ok, a man is sitting outside with a shotgun. He sees a rabbit and shoots it. He then realises his mistake. A few minutes later he dies. What happened ?

Is the rabbit by any chance someone wearing a costume? If it is, then the one who dies could be the one wearing the rabbit costume.
Either that or he was so happy of his catch that he died of heart attack?

How's this? The rabbit was carrying a vial of anti-venom to the man who'd been bitten by a venomous snake. When he shot the rabbit, the vial broke.
