Has anyone from community college ever gone to an Ivy league or equal school to get their bachelors?

Hi,
I'm in my late 20s and am returning to a clean start to school. I enrolled in a good community college but I would like to transfer to a good college when I get my gpa in good standing. I get the feeling that the schools I would like to apply to ie., Ivy's or similar, aren't exactly welcoming to those who have an associate's degree. I had an excellent record in h.s. and tripped my few first semesters in a really good college and I'm back to kick it where it belongs. But the only shot I seemed to have to go to a college I'm interested in is if I do a program I am not interested in and I really love this school. It is my first choice. Does anyone know anyone who might've accomplished this and gone to a great ranking school or an Ivy after? Or are they too good for community college graduates? What can I do in order to be more appealing to a great school? Thanks a lot! ~.*

Should I Be Scared?!!?

Ok im going into Jr. High 4 the 1st time...(7th grade) and im kinda nervous because it looks sooo much different than Elementary school. Are all those things that kids say like getting shoved in a locker ect. true? should i be scared? can sum1 who has been in Jr. High please give me sum advice?

Why is it that education is surrounded by liberals? To say they are smarter than Conservatives doesn't answer

It seems that the education system attracts liberal professors and teachers and some irresponsible teachers teach with a liberal bias. It is irresponsible because students are influenced by this and do not learn to think for themselves. Teachers should teach both sides of every issue and provoke individual thought on issues. Why is the system a majority of liberals?

Early registration for the fall semester at college is going on right now .......Now that I am almost finished with my basics it's about time that I decide once and for what I'm going to do with the rest of my life .......I am more lost now than ever! Does Anyone Know of a Way to get a Student Loan with Bad credit?

I need to pay of school and a job is not working fast enough. I dont have very good credit and I do not have a co signer. Does anyone know of a student loan (besides Federal and the ones FASFA gives you) that I can apply for? Thank you!

How do people afford American grad school?

(I'm Canadian)
I want to take a program that's 1 year and 8 months, and costs $26,000 per year tuition. Who in the world has that kind of money? Is it totally normal for everyone to get, like, $50000 in student loans? Or do all programs give enough funding that it's no big deal, and they just say the $26,000 number to scare you off?
