Why when ever you ask a question the first thing people point out is how much you suck at grammar or spelling. This isnt ******* english class.

I have some questions regarding dorm rooms and roommates. The college I will be attending doesn't allow anything to be nailed into the walls. Does anyone know of any shelves that don't require nails to be put up? Or ways to hang things like bulletin boards without using nails? Also, naturally I am a bit concerned about living with a roommate. I understand we will have share things like the TV and refrigerator. And it's not that I'm not the kind of person who never likes to share. But I also want her to respect my personal belongings. Is it ok to not want her to use/borrow my belongings and also to request that none of her guests use my bed when I'm not there? This will be my first time in a dorm room so any advice you can give me would be appreciated very much. Thank you :o)

I need to write a critical anaysis of Ray Bradbury' Fahrenheit 451 based on this research question:
"How does Ray Bradbury' Fahrenheit 451 represent a society that has chosen collectively, to relinguish its own rights to liberty and socio-political self-determination in exchange for vacuous entertainment that erodes the souls of individuals and, ultimately, the substance of the entire culture?"
I don't understand what the question mean...

Yale, Harvard, Princeton, Dartmouth, etc... Why are the called the "Ivy League"? Please don't tell me it's because there is ivy on the walls - that just doesn't seem right.

I heard once that they were called the Ivy League because there were originally only 4 - the Roman numeral being "IV", hence the "IV" League?

Someone please help! This has driven me nuts for some time! lol

Do you think it's all right for teachers to get personal with their students' home life? If the child is feeling neglected or if the child has problems at home, should the teachers get involved? Some say they have no right, some say they should act like role models and get involved. What do you think? You think it would make a difference at all?

Is education really a great way to get ahead or is this slogan the best ad campaign ever created? We're always hearing things like, "You need to go to school or you won't be able to find a job." BUT, I graduated in May with a law degree and I can't find a job to save my life. I'm over-qualified for a lot of jobs (so they won't hire me), but I'm underqualified for executive positions. Was my law degree a waste of time and money? Should I have just stuck it out with my undergrad degree and gained experience rather than going to school for more education? Is education the way to get ahead or experience?
