Hi, can someone give me some good tips for starting High School? Thanks!

Be true to yourself, and do not put that much weight into being popular and liked by everyone. As long as you are honest and respectful you will be okay. And know that high school is a good time in your life, but it is not the best time. The best times are college, figuring out the right career and landing your dream job and just being comfortable in your own skin. High school lasts 4 years, and then it is the rest of your lifetime. I would say study hard, begin your career development by researching careers, taking assessments, getting involved in clubs and after school activities, and just developing yourself. Growing up can be tough and at times kids are cruel. But just know all those "popular kids that don't want to study and skip school" are also going to be all those kids who wish they would have done it differently when they are faced with the real world of work, bills, family and wanting to own a nice home, go on vacations, etc. Nothing can be achieved without hard work on someones part. Invest in yourself and cherish your education.

Well, When you first enter the doors you will see the Seniors. The Seniors do Rule!! The Freshmen always are getting called Stupid Freshmen and stuff like that. Just don't let it bug you. Cause I'm sure when you are a Senior you'll do the same, I know I did lol.

If you want to go to college keep your gpa up its getting really competitive. Also dont worry about popularity contest its all gone after high school and no one cares after that. Other than that live it up as well you'll only go through it once.

Don't talk smack about anyone to anyone no matter what! U don't want to get caught all up in it or be the crap talking girl in the school. If someone else tells you gossip just listen to it...don't add to it.

if you need help, get it as soon as you can....i didn't do that in Geometry and ended up with a C+ when i could have gotten at least a B....don't take yourself too seriously...have fun for goodness sake!
