I have a Valentines day date that I would really like to impress. We're going to a pretty cool, trendy restaurant/bar kind of place that should be really fun and romantic at the same time. I'm almost a little embaressed to ask but I rarely drink out and I'm wondering if anybody has any suggestions on what would be a classy, yet still yummy drink I should order. Wine? cocktail? beer? kind of a dumb question... i just really don't want to have no clue what to order since I'm not a huge wine drinker and such... please help

Once in a restaurant, we saw this couple who refill their soda 5 times, and eatten 1/3 of their food. Before they left, they asked the waitress to get them to go drinking cups, and refill also.

I yearly visit my grandmother in another state and my aunt is usually there at the same time. We will go out to dinner with my folks and my aunt never offers to pay, always assumes my father or I will pay. I am the only one working, others are retired, but it doesn't seem fair that I always pick up the tab. Any suggestions?

What is the best buffet Restaurant in America? My favorite buffet restaurant in America is Granny's Buffet (similar to Old Country Buffet), the food is really good and the prices are very reasonable, unfortunately Granny's Buffet isn't a chain restaurant like Old Country Buffet and the food at Old Country Buffets I've gone to isn't quite as good as Granny's Buffet.

I feel like when my servers are talking there jibber jabber to there friends they may be talking bad about me. Then I started thinking, they cant speak English so they wont realize I'm suppose to tip them to bring me my food, so they wont miss a tip anyway. What do you think? Do you think we should stop tipping these people that are doing jobs that Americans wont do? I say stop the tipping, complain to the owners about the non English jibberish going on around you while you are trying to eat. Sooner or later someone will get the message. Wake up America!!!

Ok, so when you go to a restauraunt and you order something (or if you call in your order for pick-up) for take-out. Do you tip? And if so, do you tip the whole standard 15%?
