If it's dry it's overcooked. I've cooked my own turkey for the past 10 yrs, it's Martha Stewart style. It ain't Christmas dinner without a turkey and all the goods on the table in my house.

Never ate Turkey anyway!!!! This is a result of our greed in society, we want quick cheap food and dont care where or what it comes from! People should wise up to the fact that they are eating what was a live an animal and people should care about how they lived till thier point of death!

Probably, although each year I say I will do something different like Duck or Goose, but they when Xmas comes we seem to stick to tradition. So I guess i'd like my answer to be no, but it will probably be a yes!

Sure, why not? Every ones been happy to eat it for years with the very real threat of Salmonella poisoning (which does kill hundreds every year) so why should a total non-risk, hyped in the media really bother anyone?

Not after the Bird Flu cull in England.
Anyway it can be a bit dry and there are more succulent choices available eg. Goose, Duck(one each!!) Lamb,I could go on and don't forget Salmon if you don't eat meat.
