Here's what you do, in THIS ORDER:

1. Get up, get out of bed, and take 3 Advil. Drink 3 tall glasses of water with the Advil. Pee. Go back to bed for an hour.
2. When you wake up (oops! that was more than an hour, wasn't it! Sucker!), first thing you'll want to do is avoid moving your head. During the times that you MUST move your head, place two fingers on each temple, and press. This will keep your head from bursting like a pimple.
3. Take a vitamin B12. If you don't have one handy, take a multivitamin. For the love of all that's holy, if you take a multivitamin, EAT SOMETHING. I don't want you horking up my beautiful hang over cure. That's right, I said EAT. The spongier, the better. Bread, pancakes, OCello with the brillo pad back, whatever. Make sure it can absorb the horrid acid that's churning in your stomach. Don't eat too much, you're in the kitchen for a reason. Yup, I know where you keep the vitamins, and I know where you keep the cash.
4. DON'T SMOKE. If you're a smoker, you'll really hose yourself by smoking right away. You've got to eat breakfast first. Two reasons: 1, you have to hack up all of last night's tar first, and 2, you'll over or under smoke at this point, and it'll make you gag. Gagging is bad. Like I said, I'll have to complain bitterly if you hork up my beautiful cure.
5. Drink a glass of juice. Make it a mild juice. Drink this while your making breakfast.
6. Here's the breakfast foods to avoid: Hard Fruit, anything crunchy like chips, dried ANYTHING, and anything with a preparation time of more than 15 minutes. I recommend the following: Sausage gravy and biscuits, 2 bananas (!!), 3 pancakes, milk, and eggs if you're brave..

Before you go to bed/pass out, take a multi-vitamin and 3 Advil with as much water as you can drink. When you wake up in the morning, drink as much water you can handle along with 2 more Advil. Drag your pickled butt outta the house, drive to McD's and grab a sausage biscuit, hash brown and a Coke. I swear to you that something about the greasy nature of the food, the gummy biscuit, and the sugar or carbination from the Coke is MAGIC. Then go home, grab a nice 2nd sleep and you should be back to the land of the living by early afternoon.

There are so many theories for hangover remedies. Most people swear by the ones they use. Unfortunately, there aren't any scientific based remedies.

I do know that plenty of water (as long as you're urinating) is usually a good thing hungover or not. So are vitamins.

On a personal note...the few times i've been hungover, Jack In The Box tacos have, for some reason, made me feel much better.

The best thing for a hangover well take it from someone who was drunk for 20 years the best thing is not to get too drunk. But since you have a hangover a few Tylenol and a few hours. Things should get better. I don't recommend it, but a little hair of the dog always helps, but it just starts the cycle all over again. I haven't had a hangover for four years. I finally got sick and tired of waking up sick and tired good luck and being sober is not all that bad

I read recently in Marie Claire magazine that sticking with beer is gentler on the system. Also it is recommended to take ibuprofen before you plan to get up and start your day, set your alarm if you have to and take 800 mg. Go back to sleep, allow at least an hour before you have to be up. And yes hydrate with water, more alcohol will only prolong the hangover.
