I'm a Vietnamese guy coming to Sydney for studying, but my English is still too bad!
the situation is better with the female Vietnamese students because they just quickly hang up with local boyfriends and improve their English. But because I am an Vietnamse male, and acctually there a lot of...local gays (especially around my place-Newtown) want to date me, which is scary.
Can anyone know somewhere or someone can help me to improve my English, i mean the speaking and listenning because my writing and reading is ok.
I found out the local people speak quite fast and their accent is unique and different with things I was teached at home. In addition, everyday language is quite different with things in books and includes lots of slang.
Can anyone help me?! and tell me whatever i can do for you in return!?

Are any restaurants/cafes famous for their breakfasts? If they don't serve breakfast ALL DAY then it doesn't count - I'm a late riser :)

a friend of mine recently treated the waiter really snobbily.
Really looked down her nose at the waiter.
I just wanna slink to the next table and pretend I am with them.
The other thing I REALLY hate is when I am with someone in a chinese restaurant where the waiter is patiently trying to understand the patrons thick yobbo accent but not understanding it. So the person says the same words to the waiter but 20 decibels louder and in a way that 'sounds' sort of 'chinese'-ish to the yobbo person. EG: "I'd likeee soupeee." AND SOOOO loud!
Everyone turned around, including all the other waiters.
I was reallly embarressed and within 2 minutes made up this lie about how I suddenly felt a bit queezy and I think I had better just have a 'good lie down'
