Im holidaying in Sydney @ xmas time and need to know of a good family resturant for xmas day to take my wife and three young children (all under 12) near the harbour, we are from Adelaide.

Lots of good restuarants but I'd start ringing around. I dont think much would be open but if it is I'd book soon.Centrepoint Tower is open. Great buffet all you can eat with seperate kids meals. Its $20 for kids and $62.50 for adults on public holidays.You just get 90 mins to eat and go unless you take the last sitting of the night I think 7.30. Then you can stay until close. Request and 'insist' on a window seat. The views are fantastic.
Maybe something at Darling Harbour might be open. Goodluck.

Doyles at Watsons bay, you can get a ferry there from circular quay, it's got a great view of the harbour, lots of room,seats about 400 or more, good value for money and the ferry ride is a great bonus the kids will never forget
