Here I am, ready to impart knowledge... surfing away and I find the 'Dining Out' section for 'Answers'. Then I find the 'Dining Out in Australia/NZ' and think - weeeehaaaay my specialist subject, but there's no questions to be answered!! Either a) no one wants to go and therefore has no questions to ask or b) NZ food/bars are so good people know they can go anywhere and have a good time. I'm going for b, but feel free to post some questions anyway...

I'm looking for fresh, good quality Sushi and Sashimi and Sake. I realise I'm going to have to pay a bit but I'd still like to keep the cost down.

I'm a Vietnamese guy coming to Sydney for studying, but my English is still too bad!
the situation is better with the female Vietnamese students because they just quickly hang up with local boyfriends and improve their English. But because I am an Vietnamse male, and acctually there a lot of...local gays (especially around my place-Newtown) want to date me, which is scary.
Can anyone know somewhere or someone can help me to improve my English, i mean the speaking and listenning because my writing and reading is ok.
I found out the local people speak quite fast and their accent is unique and different with things I was teached at home. In addition, everyday language is quite different with things in books and includes lots of slang.
Can anyone help me?! and tell me whatever i can do for you in return!?

Can u please suggest some dishes or combo. Do u think the ideal of healthy chinese dishes will work? like steam dim sum istead of fried spring roll.

My friends like any chinese dishes with sweat and sour sauce, and everywhere is selling the sweat and sour pork or similar dishes. Is that what people really like?
