meatpies with tomato sauce
and BBQ'S,one of the best weekends is a bbq and a drink with your mates and all the kids playing
and you must put beetroot on a burger i cant stand it when you go into and takeaway own buy asians or lebs and you have to pay extra for your beetroot its not right
fresh prawns
but we are a very multicultural country and i love all foods
we do eat kangaroo,crocodile,venicen mutton birds rabbit etc but ther not as common as beef chook lamb etc

Kangaroo? Hahaha, no way. That's funny. We Aussies, love our kangaroos, however, we DO NOT eat them. Hahahaha.

Lamingtons ---> Yes, Lamingtons are an Aussie food.
The Great Australian BBQ, flamed grilled sausages and the lot.
Oh...you can't forget the beetroot, especially in hamburgers.

Don't you know that McDonald's downunder serves a McKoalaburgher made from organicaly farmed koala bears that are frshly minced every day on the premises?

Kangaroo is sooo 1987!!!

Meat pie with sauce, vegemite on toast or maybe a shrimp on the BBQ.

our food is influenced by the variety of cultures here, so our cuisine is a western/asian fusion.
But the meat pie, that you eat smothered in tomato sauce (ketchup) is very popular and seems to symbolise aussie food.
