Here I am, ready to impart knowledge... surfing away and I find the 'Dining Out' section for 'Answers'. Then I find the 'Dining Out in Australia/NZ' and think - weeeehaaaay my specialist subject, but there's no questions to be answered!! Either a) no one wants to go and therefore has no questions to ask or b) NZ food/bars are so good people know they can go anywhere and have a good time. I'm going for b, but feel free to post some questions anyway...

I'm going to Auckland for 4 nights between Christmas & New Year on Honeymoon.
We're staying right on Viaduct Harbour, I'd love to know some good restaurants and bars to visit.

I lived in Nz for 6 months and would dearly love to move there, but at the moment my bank manager won't allow it.
But I love the place more than anything else and feel home sick for the place.

Love to visit but it's too far and too expensive when there is a family of four. Perhaps if NZ moved a bit closer then we would be talking!

My son and his family are moving to live there to get away from the oppressive climate in the UK and give the children a chance of a decent life and a job..
Most of the indigenous population would go now if they had the chance, as many are.

hey matey!

i'm about to go to NZ on a Contiki tour at the end of november, so if you can give any tips, i wouldn't mind!

i've never been to NZ before which is why my bf and i decided to opt for Contiki. you get to see the best stuff without having to worry about reading road maps :)

maybe that's why there's so few questions? most people prefer to pay for a tour company to cart them around so they don't have to do any investigating for themselves :) i know that's me. hehe

I would love to see New Zealand especially Christchurch, but it takes m-o-n-e-y and as the US is becoming a third world country I don't see it happening any time soon.

WOW I would love to visit New Zealand! But I would never ever be able to afford it! That is my dream trip! Maybe one day!
