Dining Out - November 2006

I live in the Boston area and my friend is coming down from NH Saturday morning to have brunch, because there are so many places to eat in Boston. But I don't know any good brunch places because I don't usually eat brunch. I want to go to a good one, maybe they have a jazz band or are famous for their special french toast, or something similar. My boyfriend once went to one in Jamaica Plain that he said did jazz but he can't remember the name of it.

Okay so when i go to work I always call DAE DAES delivery they have really good chilli cheeseburgers but they also have great Grilled Chicken Sandwiches they have seasoned grilled onions on them!!! I dont know what to choose! What do you think??

i'm wishing for a quality hot dog place, like on every street corner in n.y. i want that quality wiener smell like in n.y. it is very distinctive. the only place i've smelled it on the west coast is Pinks in hollywood. know any in the b.a. where i live? Caspers or Kaspers in the easy bay ain't it; neither is Marks in san jose, very over-rated w/ its canned Stagg chili and dull tasting dogs; Ben Franks ditto, better chili, but ordinary hot dog. i will go to s.f.(hate it because of the filthy street grime and litter, by and large) if a place is recommended. i want one that can stand on its own with just mustard.

My friend and I went to dinner at a steakhouse and were greeted with the AWFUL odor of a srong woman's perfume who was seated in the next booth. She was seated after we got there and right away my friend felt sick to her stomach. I thought the "steak aroma" and margarita would help her discomfort, but it was REALLY bad! What would you do?

I'm going to Dallas the weekend of the 18th to visit my friend who just moved there. Since she just moved there she doesn't really know which clubs are good.

Can you recommend a few?
Here's what we're looking for...
A place that has good dance music..i.e., hip-hop, dance, techno.
Also, we're 30 so please don't recommend any places that mainly college kids or 22-24 year olds go to.

Im going out to dinner tomorrow nite with a friend...we will probably just go to a pub or restaurant for dinner...im on a diet tho so i cant eat anything too big or too fatty...any suggestions on what to order??

(please just use your imagination on what they may have on the menu because im not quite sure...)

at late night fast food places like jack in the box and burger king there is a sign on the drive thru that says they won't serve walk up customers. my experience is that they won't serve people on bikes or skateboards either... but do they serve customers on motorcycles?
