Are there any restaurants in Brick Lane?

I'm after something Asian, maybe an Indian or similar, a curry really - are there any places on Brick Lane that do such hearty fare?

Bengal Cuisine on Brick Lane is by far (in my opinion) the best Indian restaurant within that area. The restaurant has nice decor and there is always a good atmosphere. The food is great and i think the restaurant has won numerous awards.

I know there are a lot of Indian/Bangladeshi restaurants. Although its not a place to sit in and eat you must try the Jewish bagel place at the end of the Lane, they make some of the nicest Bagels in London, and apparently its famous... Don't know how true that is though...

Possibly. I've heard that Brick Lane is famous for its "sarcastic git." A lumpy, slightly racist curry.

Not sure there are many Restaurants but there are some great Indian Cafes, with brilliant food.
