I live in the Boston area and my friend is coming down from NH Saturday morning to have brunch, because there are so many places to eat in Boston. But I don't know any good brunch places because I don't usually eat brunch. I want to go to a good one, maybe they have a jazz band or are famous for their special french toast, or something similar. My boyfriend once went to one in Jamaica Plain that he said did jazz but he can't remember the name of it.

Good Brunch Places In Boston

Ryles in Cambridge has a GREAT brunch and jazz menu! Also, Johnny D's in Somerville is good, and they always have local musicians playing during brunch. It's good, but not great though. I think Ryles is much better. Also, a little nicer more upscale would be Stephanies on Newbury Street, or even more so- the cafe of the Ritz.

The Blue Room in Kendall Sq Cambridge has an excellent brunch but it is only on Sunday. In my opinion it would be worth switching your plans to Sunday!

The Eastern Standard in Kenmore Square also has a terrific brunch. You'd have to call to see if they serve brunch on Saturday 617.532.9100.

Enjoy!
