I want to get a PDA that has wireless and bluetooth so I can access my emails and access certain websites while on the move. I've seen the Dell X51, but is that the best out there, or should I be looking at something that is not windows based?

I currently have a palmone lifedrive with a palm os 5 operating system. In order to get to my Yahoo! Mail, I have to go through the Yahoo Website. Is there a way to access my Yahoo! Mail without a middleman, that is, the Internet Browser to Yahoo!? I know there's a way to program VersaMail (people with PalmOne know what I'm talking about) to get email. How do I program it with Yahoo! mail? Thanks!! =]

What are some of the pros and cons of getting one? Are they worth it? I can get one for pretty cheap through my employer, but don't know if I would use it.

My friend gave me his PDA because he upgraded to some other hi-tech device. But he's wiped off the memory and all that shows is a white screen when turned on. So is it true that I can put my own service on there and how much does service for something like that generally cost?

I've gotten no response in the Music Player area, so I thought I'd ask the question here.

I've started using my Palm TE as an mp3 player. I'm reasonably content with it, but I need more storage. I've been thinking of a 1gig SD card to replace my 128meg card. That'll cost between $30 - $50, I think, if I shop around.

But I've been wondering if a true mp3 player in that price range wouldn't be a better buy. True, it won't have as much storage, but some come with radios (nice, but not essential) and have other features, such as working more easily with MusicMatch Jukebox, which I like a lot, and functioning as a flash drive (useful) and voice memo device, (not so much).

If I'm otherwise happy with my Te as a music player, does buying a larger SD card make more sense than a dedicated music player? Any thoughts on this?

I know that a PDA is a Personal Data Assistant, but what features does it have? I am a college student, and I hate lugging my laptop on the train and on long trips. My big thing is, will I be able to write and save essays and send big papers (reports) to myself (via e-mail) to be printed out? I need to know how it works. HELP!

I'm trying to decide which device would work the best as a portable PDF reader, since there don't ssem to be any good e-readers avalable. I'm wondering if a PSP would work or maybe the Nokia Internet reader. Has anyone tried this and found a lightweight device good enough for using as a portable ebook reader (that supports PDF)?

I have a Sony Clié Peg-SL10. 320x320 hi-res screen; black and white; runs Palm OS 4.

I'm trying to find a keyboard, but since the unit is no longer supported (Sony stopped making them), I can't find any details about which portable keyboards are compatible. Do they all work? Or only certain ones?
