I'm trying to find a program for a Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone, the Samsung i730 to be specific, that allows me to transfer files from the PDA to my computer at home while I'm away. Does anyone know of a program that allows this? Terminal Services doesn't do it, LogMeIn.com's IT Reach doesn't do it. I've been search the internet, but there are millions of different utilties and I haven't been able to find one that transfers files.

Why have GPS devices stayed in the $400-$500 range? Most consumer electronic devices show steady price declines (even while increasing in quality), but GPS hasn't really. They've been around many, many years now, I would have thought it'd hit the $100-$200 price range.

I know they keep improving the screens and adding memory. But you can buy a $100 PDA (albeit, not a high quality one). Is the GPS chip itself so expensive. If so, why?

I have three SD cards for use on my HP iPAQ 2210. One of the SD cards cannot be read by the HP iPAQ 2210 any longer (previously was working with no problem). The other two SD cards can be read by the HP iPAQ 2210 with no problem. However, the problem SD card can be read by my PC using a LEXAR Media JumpDrive Trio without any problems. CF cards can be read by my HP iPAQ 2210 with no problems.

I am using the SD cards to store movies to watch on the HP iPAQ 2210.

The problem card is a Toshiba 128 MB, while the other two that work OK are Toshiba and SanDisk.

I have been using Palms for a while, which have 320x320 and 320x480 screens, but I'd like something which has a physically larger screen. I don't mind the resolution much, but the actualy size of the screen makes them hard to work with.

I currently have the first XDA which I use purely as an organiser and also a Sony Ericsson K700i mobile. I want to buy a smartphone that will do that lot. I am familiar with the mobile microsoft software I use with my XDA, and a bit wary with the Symbian software provided with the Ericsson P990i.

Ive narrowed my search down between the new XDA, as its a lot smaller than the one i have, so i may be able to put up with that as a mobile, however I like the Ericsson p990i (however not sure if through time that flap at the front will be a nuisance and end up breaking off or getting slack and falling down??) and also the Blackberry 7130v ?? Can anybody help me with any advice or if you currently use any of these smartphones and what your views are on them?

Thank you for any help/advice you can give me.
Regards
Linda
