Did you tungesten fall /get a shock (physical )
yellowishness happens when the screen inside which has a chemical coatingh gets spoilt and is the start of degradation of the same .will lead to eventual failure of the Screen

Eventual screen failure that a PDA screen has to go through.

You should see and hear the abused screen of my Tungsten T3; what kind of ex-owner did that and how?

If it is within extended warranty get it to such a condition to go to the warranty shop in time; if that eventual failure happens in unwarranted time there's tutorial online to open-up and do a DIY fix, unfortunately I just downloaded the video for T1/2/3 not bookmark it but the firm that sells parts is www.PDAparts.com.
